Synopsis

Photojournalist L.B. Jeffries accidentally breaks his leg while getting an action shot at an auto race. Now he is confined in his apartment in New York, so he uses his free time to spy on his neighbours through his rear window with a binocular. He then finds out that one of his neighbours has murdered his own wife. Jeffries seeks help from fashion-consultant girlfriend Lisa Freemont and his visiting nurse Stella to investigate what has happened.
